The Palm Island Aboriginal Shire Council is constituted by a Mayor and 4 Councillors. Once of the Councillors is elected Deputy Mayor for the Council.

The following Councillors have been elected by the community of the Palm Island Aboriginal Shire Council area to represent them for the period April  2020 - March 2024.

Candidate nominations are open from Monday 29 January 10.00am to Tuesday 13 February 12.00pm, and the ballot paper draw will be conducted on Wednesday 14 February.

The Returning Officer will be in your community 6 February – 15 February.
