Meeting Notices

All Meeting Notices are published 2 weeks prior to the Council Meetings, with details of the meeting. 

Agendas

Council will publish the agenda items of its ordinary monthly meeting at least 2 days prior to the meeting date. The list of agenda items are available at the Council Office 1 Main Street Palm Island.

The items to be discussed at a special meeting of Council will be published before the meeting. In emergent situations it may not be possible to publish the items 2 days before the meeting. Only those items listed on the agenda of a special meeting may be considered by Council.

Minutes

Council must publish the minutes of its Council meetings no more than 10 days after the meeting. These minutes are available for viewing at the Council Office 1 Main Street Palm Island.

Although the minutes are not confirmed until the next Council meeting the decisions are Council are binding as soon as they are resolved at the meeting.
